Hi,
We caught up on our backlog! By the end of this week we will have Torso
Fronts in stock, ready for immediate delivery. For most of last year,
orders shipped the same day we received them. Call us for current order
fulfillment times for the Torso Front whether you are a customer or a
Tester.
We are preparing for the last big step in our Full Torso Project, and it's a costly step in the project budget. It is desirable to our Test Group that we complete this step sooner rather than later. Accordingly, as we prepare to close the Test Group, we have determined that offering one last discount will enable us to meet our target sooner. It is our best offer and biggest discount yet, and possibly the last we will ever decide to offer (since retail sales will fund future development, and we won't need to give our profits away with these offers after the retail product rollout of our Full Torso). The number new Testers we accept is limited by the cost of our next step on the mold (milling the parting line of the mold set, only on the backside mold lips. It's a day's work, at several hundred dollars an hour, plus a bulk order of raw materials to begin production on the new product, and equipment and materials to make our Prototype V3 Storage Container. We are ready to go, just waiting to have the budget for the work. The reason the next step is so expensive is that there is only one shop we know of within a half day's drive with milling machines big enough to hold molds as big as ours and precise enough to satisfy the demands of the aerospace industry. This works to your advantage if you have always wanted one of our dolls but couldn't afford it.
We are offering 2 options for each Tester Bundle:

at the lowest initial payment. The second payment is due right before
we ship the second doll.)
- Option 2: The lowest overall cost (designed to appeal to those who want to pay bottom dollar. It is a one-time payment, with nothing due later.)

Additional options for Testers:
Anyone who joins the Test Group and gets the Tester Bundle must agree
to give us feedback in the form of a 1-page questionnaire, including the
right to quote you (anonymously, of course).
- Testers may elect to switch
bundles at any time prior to shipping simply by paying the difference
in cost (if there is an upcharge), or by using the remaining credit
(after deducting the products already received at their regular price)
and using the remaining credit on any of our cast products (items we
make). Credits may not be used for accessories we buy from other vendors.
But be advised that the deep discounts in the table above are offered
now, only; they may no longer apply by the time you change your mind.
The spirit of this offer is to help us meet an immediate financial goal
in order to cross the finish line of our Full Torso Project, and once
we have hit our target, we will discontinue the discounts and close
the Test Group to new members.
- Full Torso Testers who select
Option 1 (lowest Initial Cost) may elect to drop out of the Test Group
at any time. No secondary payment will be due, and you may keep the
Torso Front. The feedback requirement will no longer apply, as you are
cancelling the second part of your order and re-allocating the credit
toward the purchase of another product we make in-house.
- Testers may elect to sell
their position to someone else, as long as the Tester obligation for
feedback is transferred to the new Tester.
- It is acceptable to speculate, and regard the discounted price of Test Group membership as an investment. Several years ago some of our distributors snapped up any inventory they could get their hands on, re-selling it at a profit when our demand exceeded supply. In this scenario, as well, the Tester obligation for feedback must be transferred to the new buyer.
All costs (customer prices as well as Tester membership benefits) listed above include shipping within the 48 contiguous states. International customers may use the Shipping Calculators in our Online Store to calculate the additional shipping cost (for EACH item in the bundle). California residents pay 8.75% sales tax (not including shipping cost). All shipments are insured.

But check out the discount prices above first (so you know the deals we are offering- these prices are NOT always displayed in our Store since they are for this offering only. After this offering expires, the regular prices in our store will apply).
NOTE: These
prices are not available for Payment Plans, since small payments over
time won't help us meet our immediate goal. On a case-by-case basis we
may consider splitting the first Bundle payment into 2 payments, NO MORE
than one month apart. This would apply to Option 1 Bundles, only, and
an additional 5% in cost would apply in this case.
Here's some additional important information on what it is to be a Tester.
Depending on the initial response to this announcement, orders placed after the initial rush might take us an extra week or 10 days to ship to you (we are referring to the first part of your order, the Torso Front, whether it is purchased as a customer or included as a benefit of membership inj the Test Group), since all Testers will have to wait for us to fill the orders to Testers in front of you before we ship the second part of your order. Big Bundle Testers get the biggest discount, and they will have the same wait as others except for the third part of their order, the 3/4 Scale Full Body Doll. The 3/4 Scale Full Body Doll is not scheduled for release until next year, depending on our progress on the mold set in the shop); it all depends on our sales, which drive our development budget, and whatever unexpected technical challenges we may have to resolve before product roll-out. No worries: we have an 18-year history of solving every technical challenge we have ever faced, it just takes us longer (and costs us more). Remember, you can change your order to a different product at any time, or simply drop out of the Test Group.

To place your order or join our Test Group, simply go to our Online
Store and place your order. Please Note: The prices
in the store are our REGULAR prices (except for the Full
Torso Bundle; we created a separate Tester offering in our store for that
bundle, alone). You don't have to worry about that; just select the Bundle
(which ever one you are interested in) and any optional items you want
and proceed to checkout. When you click the "Click Here to Submit"
button it captures your order and shipping and payment preferences, but
it does NOT charge your credit card. Due to the high incidence of bogus
orders (our high-ticket items are a magnet for online fraudsters), we
do our own in-house fraud scrubbing. Once we confirm that your order is
legitimate and that you are the card holder, we will adjust the amount
charged to your card to reflect which option and price you want (lowest
overall or lowest initial payment). We will ask you directly which option
you want when we call you to confirm your order before ever charging your
card. We ALWAYS call you first. We will also confirm your payment option
selection, the Bundle you will be receiving as a benefit of membership
in our Test Group, purchase price (or cost of membership), Tester status,
and our deliverables to you by email , but we are still going to call
you for you final authorization before we process your order. If you intend
to mail us your payment, you can just enter 1234123412341234 or some obviously
bogus number in the credit card field at checkout. That way we will see
your order and know to contact you about alternate payment arrangements,
and we can send you our Payment Options FAQ.
Please call us first if you
have any questions at all. We prefer it; we like the chance to get to
know our Testers, and it's a best practice to perform your due diligence
research before opening your wallet in order to make an informed decision.
Please weigh the advantages and disadvantages of becoming a Tester before
proceeding; we would far rather you wait until after product rollout and
have you become a satisfied customer than have you join our Test Group
hastily, without evaluating the fit, and then having a change of heart.
Your decision is final (except for the option of changing the product
you are interested in buying or Testing). We try always to be available
by phone (afternoons are best, Pacific Standard Time).
