Mimicon Medical creates and produces medical demonstration models for medical schools, hospitals, and clinics for training health care professionals and educators. Our patented elastomeric gel is uniquely suited for this application. This model was designed to the demanding specifications of our client for this product, Clinical Innovations, Inc.

The design challenges included the fabrication of not only an exterior mold, but also an interior mold (for the uterus and birth canal). In addition, the pelvis was required to meet close tolerances in order to accurately and realistically simulate the constraints of childbirth.
