The online store is in Test Mode until we have enough feedback from customers to feel confident about accepting unattended transactions. It still works as far as sending us your order information (what you ordered, where to ship it, contact info, shipping info, and payment info). The only thing it doesn't do is charge your credit card or bank account (until we have done enough testing on the fraud control settings to get out of Test Mode and go live). If you already clicked the submit button in your shopping cart, you don't have to do anything else except make your payment.
Payments can be made either by using any of the methods below that qualify (US customers have more options than international customers). Please select the payment method that best suits your needs, budget, and time requirement. For financing options, see the bottom sections of this document.

SECURE eChecks

63.1 million of Internet-using households pay at least one bill online in an average month directly from their bank account. It's exactly the same as the way you pay a utility bill by phone. This is an unsigned "demand draft" we deposit based on the information you give us. People feel comfortable with this common payment method, so we decided to include E-checks as a payment method. There is no dollar limit, but the check must be from your bank account (in your name). We ship your order once your check clears, which can take 2 weeks.
How is it legal for my company to draft funds
from my customer's account?
Check demand drafts, or "drafting" funds from a second party's checking
account, have been a method of payment for several years, most frequently used
by collection agencies. Telephone checks (pre-authorized paper bank drafts)
are completely legal. The primary requirement is that the customer must give
you verbal or written pre-authorization, such as faxing you their check. Once
you've received pre-authorization, you do not need a signature on the paper-draft;
similar to how don't need a signature on a mail, telephone or web based credit
card sale.

in:
The Federal Trade Commission in late 1995 proposed rules that became law in January 1996 (Regulation 16CFR Part 310) that requires businesses who take checks over the phone to have a "verification" procedure in place. This could include receiving written authorization by mail or fax, recording the "authorization" phone call with customers permission, and/or sending out written notice to customer prior to depositing paper draft. This notice only needs to be in the mail prior to making deposit.

Online Check Payment
It is a convenient way to make payments, and it costs nothing more than the $10/month your bank may already be charging you for online bill paying service. Payments made using this vehicle usually take 5 business days to reach our Corporate headquarters, and another 5 days to reach our Production Facility, but it does save you a trip to the bank. Your order will be processed once your check clears. Please note that when we refer to an online check, it is specifically through your company or personal banking account and NOT from an internet check writing service. Checks from internet check writing services will be returned to you as they are not qualified as a payment method due to the high risk of fraud.
Money Order, Cashiers Check, or International Money Order
Payments made using this vehicle usually take 5 business days to reach our Corporate
headquarters by 1st class mail, and another 5 days to reach our Production Facility.
If you prefer, payments can be expedited via FedEx or Express Mail. FedEx orders
are received and logged at the Production Facility within 3 days. Priority mail
($4) takes 5 days, and snail mail can take 10-12 days. Another tip is that Postal
Money Orders cost only $1.50, compared to the $7 your bank will charge you for
a cashiers check.
International orders must use either the International Money Order or wire transfer payment methods. International Money Orders have the advantage of converting the currency to US$ in the same transaction. The wire transfer method is preferable to most overseas customers, since expediting mail is not always cost-effective, and unexpredited mail (such as postal airmail) can take 21 days to reach the Production Facility.

Wire Transfer

If you prefer same-day placement in our Order Fulfillment Queue, you may wire
transfer your payment directly from your bank to ours. International wire transfers
can take anywhere from 1 day (Japan) to 10 days (France) depending on the banking
system of the country of origin, but usually within 1 to 3 business days, and
most often by the next business day.

A wire transfer is an electronic payment service for transferring funds by wire
(for example, through the Federal Reserve Wire Network or the Clearing House
Interbank Payments System).
How do I make a wire transfer?
The first time you send a wire, you need to visit a banking center and present
proper identification. After that wire transfers can be done right over the
phone.

What does it cost to send a domestic wire?
Your cost is $30 (inside the US). We are charged $10, and we bear that expense.
International wire transfers cost $45 (we bear the cost of the additional $15
the bank charges us).
A growing percentage of our customers have used this payment method, and it is reliable. Our first customers to use this were from outside the U.S., but it has become quite a popular vehicle for payment from savvy domestic customers, probably because it has the advantage of getting the order placed the day the transfer is made (the order form can be emailed separately).

If you would like to save yourself a trip to your bank and make a wire transfer online (using your bank account or credit card), then there is a solution through Custom House. They specialize in international exchange, and their wire transfer rates are very competitive. Here's an FAQ from an email they sent us when we inquired about their service.
Direct Deposit

There are now 2 ways to make a direct deposit. The old way is to go to any branch
of Bank of America, and the other is right from your computer (if you have the
ability to write online checks and pay bills online.
Method 1 (go to any Bank of America branch)-
An even better method than the wire transfer, conceived by one of our
customers and proven reliable by all who have used it since, is directly depositing
a cash payment or cashiers check into our account at Bank of America, which
has the dual advantages of 1) being free and 2) getting the order placed the
same day the funds are deposited. We can verify the payment online in less than
a minute and create a time-stamped order form with your name, the details of
which are filled in once we receive your order information by email or mail.
Note: This is not the same as the direct deposit
method you would use for automatically depositing your paycheck directly into
your bank account each payday. Rather, it is just like depositing funds in your
bank account, except that you are depositing the funds into our corporate account.
Keep the deposit slip for your records (we don't need it, since we can verify
the transaction online as soon as you make it). If you use the direct deposit
method, do not use a personal check. It will only result in a hold on the check
(imposed by the bank), and a hold on your order (during which other orders are
placed in front of yours). This payment method is not available for international
orders.
Method 2 (online bill payment)-
The new method is for you to inform us (by phone or by email) that you want
to pay online from your bank account. We will need to know your name, address,
phone number, email, and the total amount of your order (from our Online
Store). We will email you an invoice, and you can make your one-time direct
deposit payment straight from your bank account to ours.

Credit Card

Secure, convenient, and discrete, credit cards are a qualified payment method.
They are a great convenience, and they do a good job of offering consumer protection
and convenience. At this time there is no charge for paying by credit card.
However, after our Online Store is out of Test Mode, there will be a convenience
fee for paying by credit card.
Large orders: There is a dollar limit for credit card transactions
we must observe in order to be in compliance with our credit card processing
company. Accordingly, if your order total (including shipping) is more than
that, we split your payment in two. We mention it in case you see 2 smaller
transactions on your card instead of one big one.
To make your payment using this method, simply call us Toll-free at 866-8CYBORG (866-829-2674) to process your credit card payment immediately. Important: the checkout process in our Online Store does NOT charge your credit card at this time. Instead of waiting for us to get out of Test Mode, we can process your order online today by Virtual Terminal (which is how we process all phone orders, anyway). We will process your order while you are on the phone in 60 seconds and you're done. We have all your order information already once you click the submit button in your shopping cart's checkout page (where you entered your billing address, etc). We recommend calling rather than emailing, since email is not 100% secure for sending sensitive credit card information (this is true of all email to any company).
Promotional Offer- Free with all credit card orders: In recognition of the slight inconvenience of having to call us to complete your payment by credit card, we will include a free 3D Stereo Recording (a $40 value). This offer will be discontinued once our Online Store is out of Test Mode.
If you want to use your credit card for a Payment Plan or one of our Bundles, we must send you a sales agreement to sign.
Western Union
Restriction: Western Union payments are not accepted. We
have to lose a needed workman while he goes to pick up the payment at the closest
Western Union office. In addition, the location makes it difficult to collect
the funds as they are made out to a corporation rather than an individual.

Now, through American General Financial Services, we have an installment financing solution to offer people that will enable them to receive and begin using their doll right away. For those who want to take advantage of a current deep discount but can't afford a single, lump-sum payment, we now offer a "lay-away" Payment Plan.
Gift Cards may be used for any product, and they never expire. Gift Cards may also be used in any of our Payment Plans (in order to lock in the current price of a special offer or discount when you can't make a single, lump sum payment). Cards are the standard 3-3/8" X 2-1/8" and have a magnetic stripe on the back for encoding the customer name, the dollar amount of the card, and the card's purchase date. Gift Cards have fraud prevention features, such as a hologram and encrypted key. Lost cards may be cancelled by contacting us.
If you wish, Mimicon Gift Cards are tranferrable simply by notifying us in writing of the contact information of your designee. We will ask that you return the cards so that we can deactivate them, or reissue them to a new customer (there is a magnetic stripe on the back on which we encode the amount of the card and the customer). You must notify us of lost or stolen cards so that we can deactivate them for you. Mimicon Gift Cards can be utilized in any of our Payment Plans. The spirit of this feature is to accommodate customers who want to take advantage of a current special offer or discount but don't have enough to make a lump sum payment. They are intended to enable you, our customer, to buy one of our products when you have enough credit built up. You are free to buy any product at any time, once you have enough credit in your plan. We will not incur the time, expense, and effort of finding a new customer to step into your position, but you are free to do so at any time. You are also free to transferl your discounted or special offer product to someone else (for any price you chose).
In order to start using this payment method, email us and we will reply with a simple agreement form that specifies what you are ordering (which is important if you are buying a discounted item) and how much you can pay each month.

All of our shipments are insured through UPS or the US Postal Service.
Shipping
In the case of the Torso Front or Full Torso, each order is shipped
in a rugged yet inconspicuous 1'X2'X4' 200 Lb.-test double-layer shipping carton
with a tamperproof tape seal to ensure security and privacy. Cartons are padded
internally, and dolls are wrapped in a soft, Vellux shipping blanket and secured
to a plywood base. Voids are filled with popcorn. Orders are shipped by standard
ground freight. Deliveries cannot be made to a Post Office box (except in the
case of Mimicon Gift Cards). You will be notified in advance of the tracking
number and precise date and estimated time of arrival.
Orders within the 48 contiguous states are based on a flat fee and shipped via gound service. International shipping costs vary by country. You may use the shipping calculator (at the bottom of this page) or contact us with your shipping address for a firm quote.
Order policies
Privacy and Confidentiality: Be assured that all orders are
handled with the greatest discretion to protect your privacy. This is a responsibility
we take very seriously. We will never share, rent, sell or otherwise disclose
your personal information to anyone. In order to guarantee your privacy, please
advise us on your order form how you wish to be contacted (by email, phone,
mail, or FAX). Please refer to the full text of our Privacy
Policy.
Order Confirmation: An order is considered confirmed once we receive
your order form and payment. This establishes your place in the order fulfillment
queue (in the case that the item is not in stock). Items in inventory ship within
24 hours (weekends excluded).
Payment: We accept payment by cashiers check, money order, wire transfer,
direct deposit, credit card, and SECURE eCheck. Credit card transactions available
to US customers online, and they are made through the secure payment gateway.
Taxes and Duties: California residents, only, are subject to
a 8.25% sales tax, which must be included in your order. International orders
are usually subject to import duties which vary from country to country. We
do not collect this amount, so it should not be included with your order. You
would pay any applicable import tax directly at the time of accepting delivery
of the shipment.
Sales terms and refund policy: For health reasons, all cast item sales
are final. No credits or refunds are allowed in order to protect our guarantee
that each customer recieves a new product, in pristine, condition. Mimicon Gift
Cards are tranferrable (at no additional cost).
Order Fulfillment: Items
in inventory ship within 24 hours (weekends excluded). Due to the custom fabrication
process required to make each doll according to your specifications and our
meticulous quality standards, please allow 8 weeks (plus shipping time) for
delivery. Shipping time is usually 2 days to a week, depending on your shipping
address and country. We send you a tracking number when we ship. You must sign
for your shipment at the time of delivery.

Torso Fronts are usually available immediately or very shortly (this was not
always the case in the past). Pre-release sales for products are offered at
a discount because of the wait time (it is impossible to reliably anticipate
technical challenges when designing something that has never been made before,
but we have a 100% success rate for solving these challenges over the last 15
years). In these cases, we often "bundle" a currently available product
for Testers and pre-release product customers to make this waiting period easier
and to ensure their goodwill.
International Orders: Due to variation in customs regulations, we must accept international orders on a case-by-case basis. Additional shipping charges will apply. We charge you what our carrier (UPS or US Postal Service) charges us. Some countries do not allow the importation of adult products. Countries with known restrictions include: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Bahrain, Egypt, UAE, Kuwait, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Kenya, India, Cuba, and China . We strongly advise you to ask your country's customs department of any ban or restriction on adult product imports. Some countries ban adult DVDs, but allow other tangible products. We cannot monitor changing laws in each customer's country. That is your responsability (and it is easier for you to do than it is for us). We will not accept retruns of shipped items, as they are are considered used once they leave our physical posession, whether or not the seal on the carton is broken.
Having said that, we have never had
a customer have any difficulty accepting delivery of one of our products. We
simply make your "due diligence" a requirement in order to keep it
that way and avoid an unfortunate surprise that we can't correct.
