About this photo: You can see
a crease between the breasts and at the collar bone caused when the torso
broke loose in an experimental shipping crate on the way to Japan. The
10 or so blemishes (that look like pimples or blisters) we discovered
were the result of oxidation during processing that inhibited molecular
cross-linking in a few drops of the gel during casting. The solution,
when we found it, was simple to implement. We are grateful to Prof. Sakai
for his patience and helpfull feedback during our extended troubleshooting
efforts.
