Interview With Pandora

l. How did you get your start as a professional dancer?

Actually, very much by chance! I was in a professional career and wanted to earn a little extra money plus fulfill an inside fantasy. You see, I was the girl who really never had a date in High school -- a late bloomer. A friend of mine suggested dancing on the weekends. So one Friday night I went for an interview and they said I could start right then. It was so sexy and funny at the same time. I really did not even know how to unhook the costume they gave me to use, but I guess I've made up for it now.

2. Did your dancing career directly lead to the magazine work?

Yes and no. My first magazine work came while I still had a professional career as a marketing representative for Citibank. It was with Playboy's" Book of Lingerie." Upon entering the feature dance circuit, in October 1991, many magazine opportunities had materialized and I started out with my face and body gracing the cover and pages of every Men's Magazine constantly over the next year. Russ Meyer got in touch with me and that was the meeting that really changed and enhance my career path world wide and gave me a celebrity status with Playboy.

3. Your measurements are always different in each pictorial.

For the record my exact measurements are 44-22-36. I wear and "H" cup bra. I'm 5'6" tall and weight about 120 lbs. I use to say I was 72H just to get the point across.

5. How is the internet?

I can't believe how it's expanding my life and career. I spent from 1991-1997 constantly on the road. I loved performing but a change was needed. So that's how pandorapeaks.com started. I still perform some, but not constantly. Now I have time for so many new and exciting projects.

6. Tell me about your new projects.

I've done a new photobook called "Visions and Voyeurism". Its a collection of black and white photographs that show the power of Pandora in a far different light that most people have seen. There is also a VHS and DVD showing the behind scenes making of the project.

I have several postcards out around the world, I'm adding a Canadian card to my international collection, have new 52 picture deck of playing cards coming and am adding screen savers to my marketing materials. Check out the web site for more details.

My latest project is way beyond what anyone would have expected from me. I lived out one my own personal fantasies being with another woman. Only I got more that I bargained for, I got two other women!!

7. What 's you favorite gossip about yourself?

There has always been a lot of attention given to my slim waistline. I love the gossip that I had a rib removed to get my 22" waistline. It's definitely not true and the waistline is totally mine naturally.

8. Favorite New pastime:

Fast cigarette boats and driving a Mercedes. I never turn down a good spy novel .

9. Favorite Junk food:

Chocolate Chip cookies by Brent & Sams.

10. Favorite Soap:

I love Caress and can't find it in Toronto. I love a liquid bath gel by Perscriptives called Calyx.

11. Favorite performance slip up:

There's really several but my favorite is the guy I picked out to be my horse during my cowgirl set. The problem was that he was so tall when I rode him I couldn't touch the ground.

12 . Favorite personal appearance:

Being in the movie "Striptease", performing live in NYC at Flashdancers and
thirdly being a guest on the Hola Suzanna show in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

13. What was it like doing the movie "Striptease"?

First class all the way. It was just so cool to meet some really famous stars and even more exciting to see what they have gone on to do. I'd love to do more films, but "Striptease" was a great career achievement. There were 900 women who read for the role. Working with Demi Moore, Burt Reynolds, Armand Asante and Ving Rhames was a dream come true and seeing yourself in a movie theater was a great trip!!
